She later learns that this student was murdered that night. This is just one of two grisly murders. The second student was repeatedly stabbed to death by a strange figure which broke through her bedroom window.

Suzy had strange vibes upon her arrival at the School, but she didn't have any concrete evidence to support her claims. There was a "strange feel" as she was greeted by a strange headmistress and instructioness while there were lots of whispers and gossiping in the same room. There was also a strange male servant who was mute and hunched over and a cleaver wielding Russian maid.

Suzy is befriended by several of the female students but they mysteriously disappear. During a dance rehearsal, she faints after being forced to perform a gruelling routine of which she was physically and mentallally unprepared. She is taken to a different room of the Academy and put on a restrictive diet. She later finds out that she is drugged every night after eating her dinner and her new roommate Sara disappears. Sara had tried to wake Suzy when she heard weird noises coming from down the hall. She left to investigate on her own, fell onto a pile of barbed wire and bled to death. Suzy is suspicious when she is told that Sara quit the Academy. Her suspicions lead her to visit with Sara's doctor, who then refers her to an expert on witches and witchcraft. Suzy learns that the School was founded in 1890 by a witch named Alana Marcus and the School flourished over the years even after her death. Suzy rethinks all the strange events that have happened since her arrival and decides she will not eat her dinner that night. She empties the contents of her tray into the sink. She waits quietly and listens and hears the same footsteps she hears every night. She follows the steps which lead her into the office of the Academy's headmistress. Inside, she discovers a secret door which leads into a hallway. At the end of the hallway, she sees and hears a group of women, including Miss Tanner and Mme. Blanc. They are performing a ritual to get rid of her! They demand that spirits make her sick, kill her, and make her vanish! The coven of witches has been performing witchcraftm using dance students as sacrifice in order to gain immense wealth and power at the Academy. Suzy runs back through the doors but encounters a demon like figure which she fights with and conquers successfully. With the coven of witches chasing her, she flees the doors of the Academy. Once outside, she is safe.
